Guitars, Cadillacs
I’ve been posting links to a lot of videos lately (I just love YouTube), usually because I hear a song on my commute and that makes me want to share it. I have a 40 mild round trip commute. On my way to and from work I listen to a combination of Sirius Satellite Radio (mostly First Wave and Disorder) and my iPod. I often hear a song on the way in that gets into my head, and makes me want to hear it again, watch the video, and post about it. So I’ve decided to make it kind of a regular feature. I have a new category called “Daily Song” where I’ll be posting these things, even though I can’t really promise even myself that I’ll do it daily. But I’ll try.
Here’s today’s nugget of joy. “Guitars, Cadillacs…” by Dwight Yoakam. God, I love me some Dwight Yoakam. I am otherwise not really a country fan at all (though I am fond of bluegrass). But there’s just something about Dwight. He seems so sincere – must be because he’s a pretty good actor as well.
Here’s Dwight.
