Daily Outfit: July 7, 2009
Wanted to start posting my daily outfits, like the other cool kids do. However, I am too lazy/uncoordinated to take a photo of myself more than very rarely. So I’m gonna Polyvore it! When I can. Until I get sick of it, which may take only a week or two. We’ll see.
Anyway, this is what I actually wore today, for reals! Clicking on the image should take you to the set itself on Polyvore, where you can click on individual items to see details. Everything listed here is what I was really wearing, except: the bracelet, which is similar to what I actually wore (what I actually wore is from Etsy and you can’t Polyvore Etsy stuff because of copyright troubles in the past); and the earrings, which are also very similar to what I wore but the ones I wore I’ve had forever and had no hope of actually finding a picture of them online.

I find that “seeing what someone wore” is very much like “hearing what someone had for lunch”: it SOUNDS like it wouldn’t be interesting, and yet it IS. VERY.

I agree! I love love LOVE seeing other people’s outfits and there are some blog feeds I subscribe to for no other reason. I think it’s a great way to get ideas, especially if, like me, you work in an office full of male computer dweebs. I gotta look for fashion inspiration somewhere!
Actually, I was hesitant to start posting my own outfits/collections (thinking “who cares?”), but then I reasoned that if I like seeing other people’s fashion, why wouldn’t they like seeing mine? At least the 3 or 4 people who actually read this blog might be interested, har har!
