Am I crazy? Is this not the cutest damn baby you have ever seen? OK so I’m a little biased, but come on…the chubby cheeks, the cute little chin, the gigantic eyes…she’s fantastic! We had Christmas pictures taken at Target the day after Thanksgiving, and they came out great. Our baby does not like to smile when a camera is pointed at her, but the photographer was energetic and dedicated and managed to get a few smirks out of her. Of course we had the obligatory photo Christmas cards made as well. Add that to the list of things I thought I’d never do, and am now doing.

My Christmas shopping is done. I managed to accomplish most of it online via Amazon, Sephora, Target, and Zingerman’s. The tree is up and decorated, and I even put out those little light-up houses that my mom gave me oh-so-many years ago. The Christmas cards are in the mail as of this morning. I feel so dang prepared. It’s spooky!

Random observation from today: I just passed a co-worker carrying his lunch back to his cube: pasta with alfredo sauce and parmesan cheese sprinkled liberally on top. My arteries hardened a little bit just looking at it.
